Clinton Fall Festival

R. MacDowell

is the biggest festival in Lenawee County and our Train Ride is just a few blocks away! There are arts and crafts, food vendors, car and tractors on display. Plenty of outdoor music and lots of childrens events and animals. Don't forget the Sunday afternoon parade! Learn more about the Clinton Fall Festival here or check out its Facebook Page.

Our trains run on Saturday and Sunday.

New in 2018

Last year we ran trains more frequently on a shorter trip. That meant a lot more people got seats. Some said it was too short - but now it's 30% longer (a few trips go even farther). It now crosses the newly restored Raisin River trestle - twice! Even better, our brush crews have cleared the long approaches and the views are fantastic! The trip cuts short the residential backyards of northside Tecumseh.

Also new for 2018, All Seats Are Refundable For Weather, this is for Clinton Fall Festival only.

The Tecumseh commuter train is back! Before 2016, the train was only a commuter train service for Tecumseh residents to come to the festival without parking. We deleted it in 2017 but people wanted it back, so we found a way to accommodate ALL riders! Scroll down for details on the commuter service.

We recommend to reserve in advance online or by phone at 734-396-0416. You can also walk-up, space allowing.

You book in the car you ride in. The open-air car is refundable for weather - so if you want to reserve your seat and still cancel for weather - book there!

Location

Departs our Clinton Station at 320 S. Division Street. Clinton 49236, southwest of Ypsilanti on US-12. Leave extra time to get around detours in Clinton for the festival, and for parking - PARKING IS A CHALLENGE!

Check with the office about FLAG STOPS along the route where you might board.

Parking

New for 2018: Anyone with tickets to our train can park FOR FREE on the grass at our Bartlett St. site , about 2000' south of the train station and the rest of the festival. We recommend you park there at your ticketed train time, flag down the train at trackside as it passes, and take your train ride then. Ride back past Bartlett to downtown. After that, you can walk the 2000', use a town provided cart, or just tell the conductor of any train you'd like a ride back to Bartlett. Last possible train back to Bartlett, 5:45pm.

We have a SMALL parking lot across from 320 S. Division St, Clinton MI 49236 and space permitting, it's free if you have tickets. Otherwise it's $5 (the going rate), and if you ride the train that day, you get it back! Pay the attendent upon entering at Clark St. at Division, Clinton, and take your $5 off voucher. Space is first-come first-serve for everyone, and because of limited space we cannot guarantee space for our riders. There is parking all over Clinton. Leave time!
